Garowe,(insidesomalia.org)- Two people have died and four others were seriously wounded after fatal explosion rocked at Garowe town the headquarters of the autonomous state of Puntland in eastern Somalia.
The explosion was actually landmine buried in the ground as residents in Garowe town said, and it was buried in a playground where youngsters were playing soccer.
“The explosion was landmine, and I have seen the bodies of two youngsters taken to the mortuary, and the landmine has in fact disfigured the wounded juveniles” said Ahmed Wehliye a resident in Garowe town.
Likewise Ahmed added that there are investigations which are underway to detect who buried the landmine and for what reason.
The talking point in Garowe town is nothing other than the explosion which has rocked the town.
The wounded youngsters are now emergency ward for treatments and their cases are reported to anguishing.
This is the first explosion to take place the Garowe town, the headquarters of the autonomous state of Puntland.
Explosions in Somalia are something next to normal and it happens almost daily in the capital Mogadishu, and they are targeted at government officials and the Ethiopian troops.
